Wonderful Weirdos Day is celebrated on the 9th of September every year. Nothing is very dull and boring in life as being normal and average. Celebrate this funny and Wonderful Day by being weird, and honor the person who was always weird in your life on a Wonderful Day. Be weird on this day by making some effort like dressing weirdly, do some weird things with your friends and family and in your workplace.
“Don’t be afraid to be awesome. Sometimes being weird and different is good. When you think you’re working hard, there is always someone else working harder, so always be yourself and know your stuff”- Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
History of Wonderful Weirdos Day
Wonderful Weirdos Day was created by holiday aficionado Tom Roy to acknowledge the weirdness in Austin, Texas. It all started in 2000 when the city officially recognized its weirdness when ‘Keep Austin Weird’ caught on as the official slogan, enhancing bumper stickers, t-shirts, etc. However, nowadays, weirdness has caught on in other places of the country as well. On this day just get out and celebrate being weird, different, bizarre, and unusual. If anyone ever calls you strange, then this is your day to invite them and show them your unique weirdness. Absolutely nothing is nothing boring in life other than being regular, repetitive, and usual, so Celebrate being weird and strange. The day gets better if you are weirder. Possibly to encourage people to enjoy their wonderful weirdness, this day is called Wonderful Weirdos Day (WWD).
