“Sometimes I think that the one thing I love most about being an adult is the right to buy candy whenever and wherever I want.” – Ryan Gosling
History of Ribbon Candy Day
It has been celebrated since 1998. Judy Pancoast of New Hampshire has created this fun candy feast Day. She created this Day on his father’s birthday, and he used to ask for a box of ribbon candy on his day. Judy’s father passed away in the spring of 1998 and Judy has no one that year to give a box of ribbon candy. As to honor her father, she has created and celebrated this Day. Judy has created a Facebook page to spread the word and thereby make the day a nationally recognized day to celebrate. Ribbon Candy is a hard candy that is sold around the Christmas holiday season in North America. It is made thin enough to melt quickly in the mouth. The candy is prepared with extracts of different mint or citrus flavors.
