Pistachios nuts are not just eaten as a snack, but they are included in many varieties of foods and desserts. Pistachio is rich in vitamin B, fiber, and proteins. Some of the researchers indicate that the addition of Pistachios to everyday diet can reduce the risk of heart problems. Pistachio nuts are used in many food items around the world. In the Middle East, it is the main ingredient in making different types of sweets like halva and baklava. In Italy, Pistachio nuts are used to produce spumoni and pistachio gelato, a famous Italian ice cream.
