History of National Parents Day
National Parents Day was established by President Bill Clinton in the year 1994 by signing a Congressional Resolution into Law for recognizing, uplifting, and encouraging the role of parents in the rearing of children. Republican Senator Trent Lott introduced the bill. Parents Day was created to promote the importance of the role played by parents in raising future generations. National Parents Day encourages parents to be more responsible which may indeed need commitment, love, and care.
