History of Nature Photography Day
Nature Photographers around the world formed the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA)in the year 1994. The association started with just 100 nature photography enthusiasts, but now it has more members associated with it. It was in the year 2006 that the first Nature Photography Day was celebrated. The Nature Photographers together celebrated the day first on June 15, 2006. Since then, the day has been celebrated each and every year.
NANPA encourages people around the world to enjoy their day by using a camera to explore nature. The NANPA is conducting various workshops for amateur photographers as well. They are completely involved in creating awareness and encouraging more photographers by conducting various events. The winners of the events are awarded a new camera and a NANPA membership as well. Nature Photographic Day has been celebrated since 2006, and it has crossed a dozen years.
