Games Day comes on December 20 of every year. It is the day to play your favorite games. The day is created to get you a break from daily life stress. As we grow, playing games is the perfect way to kick back, get some relaxation from everyday work stress, and have some fun with your family and friends. Just imagine the last day you sat with your family and friends and had fun. If you can’t remember, this day is the perfect day to have a good time with your family and friends.

History of Games Day
Games Workshop, The British Game production, and the retail company started the day. They are the ones who started traditional games like Games Backgammon and fantasy universe games like Warhammer. The workshop sponsors the game convention every year. The inaugural day was held at Seymour Hall, London, on December 20, 1975. The second day occurred in Chelsea Townhall, London, on February 12, 1977. The Games Convention is held regularly in the UK at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. It has three main games: Warhammer, Warhammer 40000, and Lord of the Rings. In a short period, the events took the United Kingdom’s community by storm and brought many people to build up the high nations gaming scene. The game convention grows rapidly year by year and becomes very popular.

How to celebrate the day
On this day, just sit with the family and invite as many people as possible. Then, create a poll to decide what game to conduct. Then, enjoy the day by having fun playing those games. The important thing while organizing that event is food. Don’t make people hungry and frustrated. So don’t forget to stock up on some snacks and soft drinks on that day. Post pictures and share your thoughts about Games Day on social media by using the hashtag #GamesDay.
