Extra Mile Day is celebrated on November 1 each year. This day was created to recognize the potential for positive change within ourselves, our families, our workplaces, and our communities when we “go the extra mile.” It is a special occasion to honor individuals and organizations within local communities who go above and beyond to make a difference. The day also encourages us to renew our commitment to putting in extra effort in our work, service, and volunteerism.
“If you want to succeed at any job, make yourself invaluable. Go the extra mile; make them never be able to imagine what life without you there would be like.” – Ross Mathews
