The sixth month of the year – June is named after the Goddess “Juno.” Juno is the wife of Jupiter, and it is considered to be equivalent to the Greek Goddess “Hera.” In Northern Hemisphere, June has the most amount of daylight hours of the year, and in the southern hemisphere, it has the shortest amount of daylight hours of the year. Most of the celebrations will take place in June, especially marriages as it is named after the Goddess of Marriage, “Juno.”
